Bayelsa State All Progressive Congress (APC) leader, Chief Timipre Sylva says the peaceful party congresses at the ward and local government levels has shown that the party has begun its rescue mission to take over power in Bayelsa state in 2019.
Addressing a world press conference at the party secretariat in Yenagoa shortly after the party local government congresses in the eight local government areas of the state, Timipre hailed the determination of APC party faithful by turning out in their large numbers to take part in the exercise.
According to him, the congresses are just the beginning of the process and he advised party members to work hard to fulfill the party’s dream of taking over Creek Haven, the seat of power in Bayelsa State.
The former governor urged them to work as a united front in line with the party ideology of changing Nigerians for a better future.
