Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Delta State Branch, has directed all its members across the state to resume work immediately.
The union has also directed all courts and departments in the judiciary to open for proper functioning of that arm of government.
In a signed statement made available to the press by the branch chairman, Comrade Augustine Chiejine and assistant secretary, Comrade Kenny Ukoruyi, the union explained that the directive was predicated on the outcome of its national executive council (NEC) emergency meeting held on June 9, 2021.
“In line with the decision of the National Executive Council (NEC) at its emergency meeting held on June 9, 2021 and the communique issued thereafter, all members are therefore directed to resume work on Monday, June 14, 2021.
“To this effect, all courts/departments in the state are to open for the proper functioning of the judiciary pending further directives from the national secretariat of the union,” the statement said.
