Theyear 2018 ended on a good note for the people of Twon Brass. The people of thatkingdom collectively chose to dedicate their home to God led by the King andQueen, chiefs, elders and pastors last December.
Itwas a day of proclamation by King Alfred Diete-Spiff, Amayanabo of Twon Brassand chairman Bayelsa State as he called on all to repent leading the repentanceprayer on behalf of the people and kingdom as in biblical times.
Membersof the Pastors Forum in the kingdom backed the proclamation/repentance sessionswith prayers for the return of the people to God and attendant peace in theland and consecrated the new covenant between the people and God as theyanointed.
Athanksgiving session followed next day while King Diete-Spiff proclaimed thatthe last Sunday of every November be marked as Twon Brass Thanksgiving Dayhenceforth.
TwonBrass citizens have been making pleasant remarks about the declaration andthanking God for taking over the affairs of the kingdom.
QueenJosephine Diete-Spiff commenting on the thanksgiving said, “It was indeed anamazing ceremony and God did accept our prayers as calm has since returned toour Kingdom. All Glory and Praise be to God as we give Him thanks for His greatmercies to us as a people, a race and a kingdom”.
Another native, Ebi Shidi-Spiff responding onFacebook added, “Brass must be Great Again” thanking God for intervention whileJohn Agha prayed that, “All the rulers and residents of the kingdom may reapthe blessings of God”.
