Chief Dennis Abuda
First of all, I want to give honour to who honour is due even at death, Chief Denis Eloniyor Abuda. You were a beacon of hope and light to my community Fugar, Edo North ,Edo State indigenes in United State. You came, saw and conquered but, your killers have murdered peace and they will never know peace either living or dead.
September 21 2020, I was kidnapped at Isele Uku for three days on my way from Asaba to Benin in the presence of the Nigeria Police and the Nigeria Army; none came to our rescue. For over 40 minutes they held hostage both sides of the road. The leader of the Fulani group said they should go and kill me after they collected money from me and few persons who I could reach out but, God was on my side who touched the heart of the two persons instructed to go and kill me close to the main road so that police or my family can see my dead body.
Getting to the road, the two of them changed their mind to let me go after they collected everything from me. I was left with only my pant. They started shooting in the air as if they have fired me. God was on my side and God spared my life and till date am yet to recover from that trauma.
My candid advice to all Nigerians is to have a second home outside Nigeria until sanity returns to the country. What made us a nation or country and primary responsibility of leaders is number one protection of lives and properties and that has eluded us as a nation. Look at the way we lost one of our finest as a community.
My candid opinion to anyone who cares to listen is, don’t experiment with your life or members of your family in this ugly insecurity in our country, states and communities.
I can’t explain how I feel on the inside of me right now .My heart goes to my bosom friend, senior bros and leader, Chief Julius Achiegbemi Abuda and the entire family of Abuda for this irreplaceable loss .
Fugar as a community can now see why anything cultism, unholy fraternity or herdsmen should be banished from our land based on how negative these monsters have done evil to our community.
God, we ask for your mercy on our community Fugar and the Abudas. Avenge us speedily on the killers of our community leader and philanthropist Chief Dennis Abuda , Oh Lord in Jesus Name-Amen.
Rest on daddy as I fondly called you.
