To create a peaceful and prosperous country, devoid of instability and political violence, Nigerians of all persuasion have been charged to work in spirit to overcome the challenges facing the nation.
The general overseer of Jehovah The King Holy Sabbath Mission, Nigeria, Most Rev. Dr. Bishop Daniel Obiedelu gave the charge during a church service to mark his birthday.
He said, “I want to tell Nigerians to work in spirit. The reason Nigeria has deteriorated is because Nigerians have been working carnally without working in spirit. Once again, Nigerians must serve God in spirit and work in spirit”.
Most Rev. Bishop Obiedelu made reference to Gal 5:16 and 1Cor 3:18 stating that before anything happens in the physical realm, it must first occur in the spiritual realm adding that there is need for one to thank God at all time.
He thanked God for using him to plant and grow the church and called on members to support the growth..
“Inspite of my age, God has used me to make Jehovah The King Holy Sabbath Mission Church to be like a Catholic Church. Besides, I am not only the founder and general overseer of this church, but today, God has elevated me to the position of Real Admiral of the church.
“Let us not use canal mind to spoil or destroy this church. However, we must give thanks to God,” Rev. Dr. Obiedelu stated.
Some members of the church who spoke with our correspondent thanked God for the good health and longevity of Bishop Obiedelu, as they wished him more years on earth and in the Lord’s vineyard.
