As support for persons internally displaced by flood continue to flow in, the All Progressives Congress whose presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has donated N150million boosted by another N50million from its governorship candidate Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has released a guide for ensuring the donated sun trickles down to all the affected flood victims.
Delta State is among the highly impacted states with 20 states flooded.
According to the just released guidelines made available to journalists, the distribution will be led by the candidates of the party for the senatorial, House of Representatives and state Assembly in the 2023 general elections accompanied by party officials (state and local government excos) and campaign organization officials.
Also, the candidates in each of the LGA where a site is identified are expected to jointly go to the site along with party and Campaign organization officials.
The sites to be visited and amount allocated to each site from the fifty million naira is as follows:

The three camps visited by the party on November 2, 2022 will receive N5million each while each of the other 15 sites will receive N2, 333,333.33).
According to the guidelines, relief materials are expected to be collected from Chief Ominimini at Ughelli will include rice, beans, salt, mosquito nets, clothing materials, children wears, roofing sheets and nails. The materials will be divided into three equal parts for the three Senatorial Districts. Each Senatorial District will sign for the items which will now be divided into six parts for the six sites.
The money for each senatorial area will be transferred to the senatorial coordinators who will liaise with the senatorial candidates and all other candidates and form a team to deliver the money and items to each of the sites.
