The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a 26-year-old man, identified as Goodnews Iberi, in connection with the kidnapping and killing of a 25-year-old woman along the Emuoha axis of the East–West Road. The victim, identified as Rita Eleonu, was reportedly lured by the suspect and members of his gang, who are currently at large, and taken into a forest, according to the police.
