The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has assured party leaders and security agencies in Edo State that the outcome of the September 21 governorship election would reflect the people’s choice. The police in Edo State have paraded 21 suspects arrested for various crimes in Benin City. The crimes include armed robbery, unlawful possession of fire arms, murder, cultism, illicit drugs, economic sabotage and pipeline vandalism. The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Funsho Adegboye, said the suspects were arrested at different parts of the state for different crimes.
