Former governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, has been reelected as the President of Edo College Old Boys Association (ECOBA). Igbinedion’s reelection took place at the 2024 Delegate Convention/AGM Election held in Benin City, Edo state. The Benin Zone of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has accused authorities of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma of failing to remit nearly N1 billion deducted ASUU dues and members’ welfare savings/loan repayments to the union.
