Election Petition tribunal sitting in Asaba has affirmed the victory of Senator Peter Nwaboshi, representing Delta North in the senate as duly elected in the last election into the Senate. Also, the election of Senator James Manager, representing Delta South in the senate was quashed at the tribunal. In the judgment presented by Justice C. O. Onyeabo, chairman of Panel 2 of the tribunal, it was affirmed that the Prosecution Witness 2 had been able to prove his case of over voting and other irregularities beyond every doubt.
