A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt on Monday ordered that a suit seeking the takeover of the functions of the Rivers Assembly by the National Assembly be transferred to the Abuja Division. A 70-year-old woman has given birth to twins following IVF treatment, a hospital in Uganda has said. According to a BBC News report, Safina Namukwaya delivered a boy and a girl via caesarean at a fertility centre in the capital, Kampala. Ms Namukwaya, who is is one of the oldest women to give birth, told local media it was a “miracle”. The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has expressed determination to embrace clean energy sources through practical approaches such as nature-based solutions and green innovations.
