The Interim Administrator, Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Maj.-Barry Ndiomu, has introduced counselling and mentoring of ex-agitators to curb all forms of unrests especially street protests. The Chairman, PAP Strategic Communication Committee (SCC), Nature Dumale, said the initiative was introduced by Ndiomu to help ex-agitators deal with stress-related challenges that could push them into violent reactions. Some operative of the Edo State Police Command have arrested two suspected child traffickers in Auchi, the administrative headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area. The two female suspects identified as Vera Okhakhu and Blessing Agbokha, were allegedly arrested by operatives of the Auchi Police Divisional Headquarters. The Rivers State Government has withdrawn the money laundering and criminal charges against a former lawmaker, Chinyere Igwe. Igwe was on February 24, eve of the presidential election, arrested and arraigned before a court, for having in his possession, the sum of $499,000,000 dollars.He was granted bail after some weeks.
