No fewer than five suspected armed robbers have been arrested by the police in Delta State. The national leadership of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has upheld the expulsion of the former director of projects in the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Cairo Ojuogboh. Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has cautioned fuel marketers in the state against hoarding of Petroleum products especially Premium Motor Spirit (PMS). Edo State commissioner of Police , CP Mohammed Dankwara has ordered detectives from the Homicide Department  to fish out the suspected gunmen who murdered a Catholic priest, Rev. Father Charles Onomhoale Ighechi of the Benin Archdiocese on Wednesday, June 7 in the Edo State capital. A 39-years old man, Mr. Sunday Ejeh, has been arrested by the Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police over an alleged defilement of a nine-years old girl in Ugbogi community, Ighobazuwa , Ovia North West local government of Edo State  The suspect, Mr. Ejeh was said to have lured the victim to his room where he had sexual intercourse with her and gave her N600 after the act.
