A coalition of human rights groups in Rivers State, Rivers Unity Alliance (RUA), has demanded public apologies from the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmood Yakubu, and the commission for failing to deliver free and credible polls during the February/March 2023 general elections. There was crisis in some parts of Edo State as some suspected political thugs broke into Units 11 and 17 at Eresoyen Primary School, Uhogua- Iguoshodin Community in Ovia North East Local Government Area.
