As the euphoria over ex-Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike’s eight year tenure in office continues, the Eze Epara Ola IV, Eze Henry A. Wonodi has commended the former governor for successfully handing over r to his successor in office.
Eze Henry Wonodi made this commendation last Monday in a chat with newsmen at his palace at Rumuola in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
Said Eze Wonodi, “I heartily congratulate our bosom former Governor Wike alias Super Quality Project for his successful handover to our amiable governor, Sir Siminialayi Fubara.
He expressed delight and happiness with Wike for transforming the state.
“Rivers people both indigenes and non-indigenes are very grateful for the tremendous work you have done in transforming the state to a greater height of prosperity both in infrastructural development and security mostly.”
Eze Wonodi said he and his people would continue to pray for Wike for guidance and protection as he aspires for a greater leadership position.
“And I say a big thank you and pray to the Almighty God for your guidance and protection as well as lead you to a greater height of leadership”.
He urged the people of the clan to remain law-abiding as well as support the Sir Siminialayi Fubara led administration.
Eze Wonodi used the opportunity to warn those in the clan who instigate crisis over the stool of Epara Ola, the paramount ruler of Rumuola, that the stool is an ancient stool which was gazetted since 1930 during the colonial administration of Concral, the t first governor of Eastern Region.
