Ahead of 2023 election, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rivers State Chapter, has declared Sunday, June 26th, 2022, a Permanent Voters Card Sunday (PVCS) to create more awareness on the need for all Christians of Pentecostal Churches to register and collect their PVCs in the ongoing voters registration exercise nation wide.

According to him, PFN NEC remains committed to its stance for the interest of justice that, ‘No Muslim/Muslim Tickets for Political patties towards the 2023 general elections should be allowed as it’s against the constitution’, adding that the State PFN is in full support of Christian/Muslim ticket, which has been the stance of the organization’s umbrella body, CAN. The State PFN Chairman stressed that in view of the ongoing political permutations NEC therefore, directs that Sunday, 26th June 2022, be declared PVC, every SUNDAY, for every member of PFN family to show their PVC before entering their Church/Ministry, saying that such exercise should be communicated to the State PFN Chairman, who will in turn communicate to the same to the National Headquarters.
Bishop Dagogo Jack, also advised those that are yet to go for their PVCs to see the need to do so immediately now that the window and door are still open to all, adding that all PFN Leaders/ members should not give up Hope, but to continue to pray, and believing that Jesus never comes late. According to the State PFN Chairman, Bishop Dagogo Jack, “the PFN NEC shall communicate to all concerning it’s resolve on the 2023 general elections after a proposed Leadership Summit later in the year”, expressing the hope thsy God will do something positive to rescue the country from all calamities.
