Randy Pastor In Police Net

The day of reckoning seems to have caught up with a supposedly well-grounded pastor manning a big church in Woji with two other branches, all in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The Imo State-born pastor was nabbed by the police on Sunday for impregnating a 19 year old Akwa Ibom girl who he lured into a clandestine affair.
He is said to be fond of having illicit affairs with girls and women in his church while showing a pious face to the public. He often publicly flogs his members according to those living around the church area.
Sources close to the church revealed to this publication that the pastor secretly befriended the girl and impregnated her after foretelling that she needed to quickly relocate from her Akwa Ibom home to avoid imminent catastrophe. The believing girl who had attended service in his church with her friend, quickly packed and moved in with the friend and started attending service in his church.
Thinking his prediction was for her salvation, she placed her trust on the pastor who offered her a job and moved her to take records of activities at one of his project sites at Eneka as manager on N20, 000 monthly pay.
From that position it became easy for him to later cajole her into an affair using the site and hotel as meeting points. The girl was too intimidated to reject his moves and was reportedly seriously beaten any time she tried to refuse his advances. Along the line, she became pregnant and on informing him, was made to swear a blood oath of secrecy. He also seized her phones, cutting her off from communicating with people.
Overwhelmed by the developments following the pregnancy and abandonment by the pastor, the girl cried out for help and human rights intervention tracked the pastor and got him arrested by the police on Sunday just as he ended service.
The girl is due to deliver any date but until the police waded had not accessed any ante-natal service nor had she any money for maintenance having left the site job.
The pastor was still in police custody at the time of filing this report with his members making frantic efforts to bail him. The development has however, caused a stir in the church as some disgusted members are threatening to leave.
Even as he is in custody, other reports have emerged alleging that the pastor has a lot to account for morally. There is even a report via a call in listener alleging that the same pastor was physically abusing another girl, an orphan, flogging her and locking her up in the church premise at Woji.
The number of members violated by the randy pastor is not clear but there are fears he may have abused more of the female members.
