Photo ops emerging from the Presidential Villa in Abuja, showed President Bola Tinubu standing between suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminilayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, after a meeting believed to have been held to reunite them.

In other photographs, Fubara is shown shaking hands with the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Mr. Martin Amaewhule, and group photographs of Tinubu, Fubara, Wike and other supporters of Wike.

The photographs were being celebrated in the social media as indicators of the end of the crisis that led to a declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State on March 18th.
Details of the meeting and its resolutions have not been published. But it is believed that they are being written and would soon be published.
Many people now believe that with the optics coming out of the Presidential Villa, the state of emergency emergency in Rivers State would soon be lifted and Fubara returned to his office as Governor, while Amaewhule and his members would return to the positions as members of the house of assembly.
