Popular Nigerian comedian and actress Anita Asuoha, better known as RealWarriPikin, is set to return her proposed event to Warri following a reconciliation meeting that resolved the disagreement surrounding the show.
The development was contained in a joint statement signed by RealWarriPikin, representatives of the Wado City Advocacy Group, Prince Collins Eselemo, Chief Godfrey Ishegbe and a representative of the Delta State Government.
The reconciliation meeting provided an opportunity for the parties to openly discuss their concerns, clarify issues and resolve the disagreement that had emerged over the proposed RealWarriPikin event in Effurun.
The Wado City Advocacy Group was represented by Olorogun Dr. Ejiro Imuere and Omonire Isaac Ovwigho.
According to the statement, all parties agreed to put the disagreement behind them and work collectively to ensure the successful hosting of the event.
It further stated that the parties had unanimously agreed against further public confrontation, accusations or hostile communication over the matter, whether on social media or any other platform.
The parties acknowledged that the dispute had generated concern, confusion and disappointment among members of the public, RealWarriPikin’s supporters and residents of Effurun who followed the development.
They jointly apologised to anyone who may have been inconvenienced or affected by the manner in which the disagreement became public.
The statement stressed that the resolution should not be interpreted as a victory or defeat for any individual or group.
“There are no winners or losers in this matter,” the parties said, adding that the priority was that the concerns raised had been addressed, communication restored and all parties committed to working together respectfully.
The confirmed date, venue and full address of the RealWarriPikin event will be announced once the necessary arrangements have been concluded.
The reconciliation marks a reversal of the earlier uncertainty surrounding the comedian’s planned Warri-area show and is expected to pave the way for her return to the city for the event.
The parties thanked members of the public and supporters who encouraged a peaceful resolution throughout the dispute, declaring that “peace has been restored” and that everyone involved had agreed to move forward.

The Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Chief Anthony Onoriode Ofoni (JP), was also copied in the statement.
