Governor Siminalayi Fubara has appointed five new permanent secretaries in the Rivers State Civil Service.
A statement issued on Tuesday by the Head of Service, Dr. Inyingi Brown, listed the new permanent secretaries as Sr. Vincent Worgu Wachukwu, Cordelia Uwuma Eke, Ifeanyi Anthony Ogboma, Dr. Mina Gogo Jim-Jaja, and Henry Uzor.
The statement said the permanent secretaries will be sworn in on Wednesday at Government House, Port Harcourt.
Governor Fubara is facing an impeachment from the House of Assembly, which accused him of spending finds without the approval of the legislature. The impeachment is however on hold as the matter is before the Court of Appeal.
