The Tinubu Again Movement (TAM) has begun mobilising stakeholders in Nigeria’s creative industry in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The movement made the pitch in Asaba, Delta State, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, during a sensitisation meeting with members of the Concerned Creatives, including musicians, actors, social media influencers, scriptwriters, comedians, movie directors and bloggers.
The delegation was led by TAM’s Director-General, Dr. Auwal Abdullahi Aliyu, while the Bayelsa State Coordinator of the movement, Ms. Ruby Iwoyefa Nyananyo, was also among officials who participated in the engagement.
Addressing the stakeholders, Aliyu reaffirmed TAM’s commitment to securing the re-election of President Tinubu, urging creatives to support what he described as the administration’s efforts to reposition the creative industry and improve opportunities for practitioners.
He cited the inclusion of creative industry practitioners in government appointments as one of the steps taken by the administration to give the sector greater representation.
The TAM director-general also highlighted the reported allocation of N8 billion to the creative industry, describing it as part of the policies of the Renewed Hope Administration with direct implications for practitioners and their families.
According to him, continuity is necessary to sustain the initiatives and enable the country to move from what he described as “Reform to Prosperity.”
He urged members of the creative community to use their platforms and influence to communicate the administration’s policies and achievements to their audiences.
Responding, the creative stakeholders acknowledged the issues raised during the engagement and expressed their willingness to collaborate with TAM in promoting the message of continuity within the industry.
They also indicated their readiness to leverage their various platforms and networks to amplify the campaign across Delta State and beyond.
The meeting, according to TAM, provided an opportunity for an interactive exchange between the movement and stakeholders in the creative sector.
The movement said it would continue its engagements with professional groups and other stakeholders as part of its grassroots mobilisation efforts in support of Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
