Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA) has passed a resolution calling on the 18 local government chairmen to create refuse dump sites for the collection of waste in the state. The Deputy Speaker, Maria Oligbi-Edeko moved the motion under matter of public importance over the menace of indiscriminate dumping of refuse on major roads and drainages in the state. Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has again raised the alarm about an alleged move by Edo State governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, to transfer the ownership of Radisson Hotel to a private company, just as he did to Edo State Modular Refinery.
