The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has emerged as top performer in business efficiency and transparency in the federal government’s ranking of ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) for the year 2022. This latest result is reminiscent of the board’s 81.46 per cent score in ease of doing business, which placed it on top of all other MDAs for January – June 2022. The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has said the $50 million fund for NOGAPS manufacturing product line will only be accessed by companies that will take up spaces in the Nigerian oil and gas park to enable them procure equipment or build their manufacturing shop floor within the park. Bayelsa State Government has asked business operators in the state, particularly banks, traders and keke (tricycle) operators to respect the Supreme Court ruling, which ruled that the N1000 and N500 old notes remain legal tender until December 31st in order to reduce the pains of the people of the state.
