Reynolds Construction Company Limited (RCC), the contractor awarded the reconstruction of the 18-kilometre Eleme axis of the East-Road has started palliative works on that section of the road. The company had deployed equipment and men on the road during the week after its workers were seen with survey equipment on the road a week before and have leveled a substantial part for the road from Aleto Bridge to Trailer to enable. Sunday, November 27, 2022 was a tragic day for the people of Rumuokowu Community, near the main gate of Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, when a walled fence collapsed and killed an eight-year-old girl.
