Daar Communi-cations PLC, owners of African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM has retired Mrs. Tosin Dopkpesi, the wife of the founder, Dr. Raymond Dokpesi, and other directors of the organization that have spent over ten years as directors.
Among directors affected are Tony Akiotu, Ambrose Somide, Paulyn Ugbodaga and Tony Uyah.
A worker, who confirmed the retirements but did not want his name revealed, said, “About 11 directors that have spent 10 years and above have been asked to go on retirement. One of them is Tosin Dokpesi who is the widow of our founder and chairman Chief Raymond Dokpesi,”
Daar Communications founder Raymond Dokpesi died on May 29, 2023. His son Raymond Dokpesi Jr has been chairman since 2019.
