With barely 40 days to the 2019 general polls, the Young Democratic Party ( YDP) Edo State has
endorsed the candidates of Action Democratic Party ( ADP), for the February 2019 election.
Collapsing their structure for the ADP, the chairman of the Young Democratic Party, Comrade Prince Tesi Eresamara, said they endorsed ADP as a party as a result of the humanitarian basic amenities it’s House of Representatives candidate for Egor/ lkpoba- Okha, Hon. Pius Alille is giving to people in his constituency.
Said he, “Politics is about buying and selling for those who know politics very well. l and my exco, with my supporters have decided to to collapse our structure for Hon. Alille. He is a man that has passion for the needy, less privileged people in the state, and Egor/ lkpoba- Okha indigenes. Someone that has no record of EFCC or involvement in any crime like cultism and other negative vices in society”.
” I have been seeing the projects that Hon. Pius Alile had been executing in television and radio even when he has not be elected. He has commissioned a lot of bole- holes, given scholarship to people, loans to market women, empowering of youths and grading roads in various communities in the area, and he is a humble man from a humble background, which all know,” the YDP state boss added.
Also commenting during the flag- off rally, the House of Assembly candidate of Action Democratic Party for Egor/ lkpoba-Okha constituency, in the Edo state, Hon. Vincent Omoigui, said Hon. Alile is a blessing to the party and has made them proud.
He said Hon. Alile had brought light to the area and assured the people that if they vote ADP candidate, they will not regret it.
Hon. Vincent Omoigui lamented that he has tested other parties who claimed they will bring progress and change to the people, but have nothing to show for it. He appealed the people of Egor/ lkpoba- Okha not to vote for Hon. Ehiozuwa Agbonyima who refused to do any tangible projects for the people. He reminded them that it was the same Hon. Agbonyinma who voted against local government autonomy in the House of Representatives.
Hon. Omoigui said as somebody who went to represent the people of his district four years, he did not
do anything, that if they vote him for the second time he will use their money to enrich his family, concubines and kinsmen.
In his joyous speech, the ADP candidate to represent Egor/ lkpoba in the House of Representatives,
Hon. Pius Alille said since Hon. Ehiozuwa Agbonyinma became a member in the lower house of federal chamber he has not done a meaningful project for the people he is representing. He said the only thing Hon. Agbonyinma did is to buy Wheel- barrows, Keke Napep motor, grinding machines, cutlasses to empower farmers.
Hon. Alile said if Hon. Agbonyinma is doubting his claims he should challenge him in a media debate to tell the people of Egor/ lkpoba- Okha the tangible projects he has executed noting that the only time he came to Egor to grade road was when Agbonyima came to campaign in 2015, when he was looking for votes from the people. He said after he won, he did not cite any humanitarian projects in the area again. He told the people not to vote for his return to the House of Representatives.
