Iyamu Promises To Tackle Infrastructure If Elected

Candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for Orhionmwon South Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Comrade Bright Iyamu has promised to bring dividends of democracy to his constituency if elected.
Iyamu also vowed to address the state of basic infrastructure a problem in the local government since its creation.
The state Assembly hopeful made the promises in Benin City at a media parley where he also had his fellow candidates from other constituencies,
He called on youths to brace up and ensure that young people are elected into various political offices and positions in the coming election.
Comrade Iyamu explained that he is going into the State House of Assembly to enhance the living standard of Orhionmwon people and bring development and progress to his locality and solicited support.
“We need your support because I believe we have so many issues to tackle; we have educational issues to tackle, we have security issues to tackle and there are so many people who need empowerment”.
Iyamu said it is time for the youth to take back the country.
“As youths, we are supposed to be focused, we are the future generation; this is our time to take over. We came to politics to find a way to reach our people because we know what they are lacking, they don’t need to tell us because we are sincere. It has got to the stage that we have to take over the stage.
“We don’t need to wait any longer; there is nothing wrong if the next governor of the state is a youth, if the next president is a youth. So what I am trying to tell you is that we as youths, are determined to ensure that we decide who will represent us in the next election.”
Also commenting, former chairman of Ovia North East, now vying for a seat in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Destiny Enabulele appealed to the media to help with publicity to enable the electorate vote for them.
Hon. Enabulele also extolled the media both print and electronic media for the roles they played when he was the chairman of Ovia North East Local Government.
Declaring his assurances to work for PDP candidate representing Orhionmwon South constituency, the deputy director of Bright Iyamu Campaign Organization, Pastor Monday Igbinigie said Bright Iyamu is a sellable candidate that will create basic amenities in his locality if voted in as lawmaker.
Monday Igbingie said:”If you have a product that is marketable, you don’t have any problem selling the product so, for us in Orhionmwon South, we are only waiting for inauguration, if there is any candidate in Edo state who is sure of his victory, he is number one.”
