Omo- N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare ll has called on Christians to pray fervently for the nation’s leaders and against insecurity in Nigeria.
The Benin monarch made the statement in a release issued by his acting chief press secretary, Ogiemwanre Victor in Benin city. He enjoined Christians irrespective of denomination, to use the Easter era to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
“His Royal Majesty enjoins Christians irrespective of denominations to use this period to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ and endeavor to follow the foot- steps of Christ in in their daily living.The Benin Monarch calls on all Christians to continually pray for the nation’s leaders and for the mitigation against the world’s deadly disease, the Coronavirus pandemic across the globe, particularly in Nigeria.’
‘Oba of Benin urged Christians to pray against insecurity and for enduring peace, harmony, amongst mankind,” Oba Ewuare ll stated.
