The Delta State governor has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing storm drain projects in the state.
In his twitter handle @okowa, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa who was on project inspection in parts of the state expressed happiness at the pace and quality of work being done in parts of Warriand Effurun and the fact that they would be ready in 2022.
The projects are part of the state government’s effort to transform the state as well as check the menace of flooding and erosion which has been a problem.
Meanwhile,his Bayelsa State counterpart,Senator Douye Diri called on Deltans to sustain the prevailing peace in the state..
The governor was in Delta State for a road commissioning Tuesday March 2.. The Okowa government has embarked on a spate of road projects to open up the state for investments and attract employment in addition toimproving the living standard of the people.
