Renowned cleric Pastor David Ibiyeomie has linked the emergence of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara as the fulfillment of divine prophecy. Speaking during a sermon, the founder of Salvation Ministries recounted how a prophetic word about Rivers State was given years ago, declaring the restoration of its glory and leadership.
Pastor Ibiyeomie recalled a specific prophecy that came during a major crusade in Rivers State. “God revealed to me a place called Oba in Rivers State and said, ‘Head or tail, the glory of this place will be restored.’ That restoration is what we are witnessing today with Governor Fubara’s leadership,” he said.
The cleric highlighted Governor Fubara’s journey as a testament to God’s ability to lift individuals and restore communities through unexpected circumstances.
“When God decides to elevate someone, no obstacle can stop it. Fubara’s rise from obscurity to governance is a clear demonstration of divine favor and fulfillment of God’s promise to Rivers State,” Pastor Ibiyeomie stated.
He also emphasized the spiritual significance of leadership and urged the congregation to pray for the continued success of the state under Fubara.
“This is not just about politics; it is about God’s hand shaping the destiny of a people and a region. Rivers State is entering a new season of glory and restoration,” he declared.
Governor Fubara, who hails from Opobo-Nkoro, has been widely praised for his humility and efforts to prioritize development in Rivers State since assuming office. Pastor Ibiyeomie commended his commitment and called on all stakeholders to support the governor’s vision for the state.
The cleric concluded by encouraging believers to trust in God’s promises, using Fubara’s story as an example of how divine intervention can defy human expectations. “When God speaks, it is settled. Rivers State is on a prophetic journey, and we must align with God’s plan for the state’s future,” Pastor Ibiyeomie affirmed.
