Luck ran against a POS operator, Mr. Nonso, who was obstructing the armed robbers who went to rob him at his place of business joint, as they ended up snuffing life out of him.
Information gathered from reliable sources revealed that Mr. Nonso was reportedly killed in Benin City, Edo State capital on Saturday, June 12, 2022.
Investigation reveal that Nonso is the only son of his parents and operates a POS center by Third Ikpokpan Junction, off Sapele Road area of Benin City, opposite a popular event and cinema center. He was at his business corner attending to customers when some young men who he mistook to be customers approached him to demand for his sales as well as other valuables.
Eye witness account disclosed that the gunmen had succeeded in collecting the cash and valuables before Nonso gained consciousness and attempted to put up a little resistance, which he must have believed could help retrieve his belongings.
Unfortunately, because of the altercation Nonso had with the robbers, he was shot instantly which led to his death.
