THE STATE OF DECEPTION IN RIVERS STATE AND NIGERIA

How President Bola Ahmed Tinubu circumvented the will of the people of Rivers State and declared a state of emergency when there was no constitutional basis for same, reveals how low he would stoop to steal what belongs to the people whom he stole their mandate.
He has a companion in the FCT Minister who gallantly stole the votes of Peter Obi and dashed his senior colleague in the game (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) to enable his do or die quest for power.
We observed the elections and saw the shenanigan. However, the electoral Act has made it difficult to prove a case on the balance of probability with a very high burden to prove non-substantial compliance in a minimum of 80,000 plus polling Units, and the discretion to transmit results from polling Unit.
It is the view of PILEX CENTRE that failure of the people to demand for, and of the legislature to amend those hurdles would simply allow the two leviathans and behemoths to cross the rubicon again without any qualms.
It is clear that the President owes his mentee for the past delivery and the future ambition and something has to give …. RIVERS STATE…
The appointment of L.G.A Administrators and Samuel Nwanosike lays to rest any doubt as to whether the Sole Administrator is playing the script of former Governor Wike or NOT. It is now visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that the Sole Administrator is an Agent of Mr. Wike and nothing more pretentious.
It is now clear for us to assert that the state of Emergency is not to cure any security issue but to undemocratically capture Rivers State for one Man, Wike, to serve his personal interest and the interest of Mr. Bola who was a pro-democracy hero (now fallen).
Conversely, the people of Rivers State have shown resilience and won this war against WE THE PEOPLE. The daily massive condemnation of the Emergency rule, flood of litigations against the evil establishment, peaceful protest by the Civil Society Organizations that was visited by the Police and Military with teargas and violence and the peaceful protest of the Rivers Women, are proofs of the peoples ownership of the state. The pyrrhic victory of Wike and Co is temporary and Rivers people will have the last permanent laugh.
Indeed as Anyakwee Nsirimovu of blessed memory (my Father in this advocacy Faith), would say, “we are fighting AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS” and in the words of Ken Saro Wiwa “we shall march peacefully and non-violently and we shall win”.
Indeed “Morning Comes”
Sovereignty belongs to the people, from which government derives its power. The Nigerian Constitution is supreme and its provision shall have binding force on The President of Nigeria and all authorities and persons (Sole Administrator) throughout the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall not be governed nor any part of it taken control of, except in accordance with this Constitution.
PILEX CENTRE urges the good people of Rivers State to continue to push out this illegal occupant within the ambits of the law until we evict him. Only an active citizenry can take back what rightfully belongs to them.
WE SHALL OVERCOME BECAUSE WE WILL NOT GIVE UP OR GIVE IN TO THIS ILLEGAL REGIME.
