Leadership of Volunteers for Orphans, Widows and Youth Empowerment, VOYE accompanied by supporters, paid a warm visit to inmates of Rhema Home Omodu Street, off NTA Rd, Port Harcourt to share time.
Led by the founder/ president of the non-governmental organization, Chief Bridget Duru, the visitors spent time singing, praying and dancing with the children who were very happy to receive them.
Chief Duru asked the children to pray for world peace, love and humanity and pledged a life-long monthly financial support for the home, explaining that the NGO founded in 2009, is committed to helping the needy, especially children, widows, less privileged youths and the elderly.
She commended the caregivers and founder of the center and urged the children to be good.
