Delta state Trauma Health Centre at Agbor will henceforth be given regular attention to ensure its speedy completion.
The state Commissioner for Housing, Chile Festus Ochonogor stated this in Agbor after a triparte meeting with officials of the ministry of health led by the commissioner, Dr Mordi Ononye; the consultant handling the project, Mr D. O. Nwachukwu and his team of engineers.
The meeting, which was called by the Housing Commissioner was to look at the problems hindering the project with a view to find solutions so that the project can be completed within the next six months.
Chief Ochonogor enjoined all stakeholders in the project to work in synergy to ensure the early completion of the life saving structure.
However, after careful deliberations with all stakeholders in the project, it was agreed that there was need for adoption of a new approach, including the need for the drawing to be modified to reflect the reality on ground.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Mordi Ononye expressed delight at the meeting and thanked the commissioner for Housing for the initiative. This was followed by inspection of the project by members of both ministries and the team of engineers.
