Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru
As Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru marked 62 years of his existence on earth, some Deltans have felicitated with him wishing him long life and good health.
Chief Ogboru, who was born in 1958 in Port Harcourt, was the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta state during the 2019 general elections.
In a congratulatory messages made available to newsmen in Asaba some APC members and ardent followers of the ‘People’s General’, as he is fondly called, expressed gratitude to God for keeping and blessing him with leadership qualities.
A staunch supporter of Chief Ogboru and a party faithful, Mr Gabriel Diode in his message remarked that Chief Ogboru has made his mark in the political landscape and as a leader of repute, describing him as an epitome of peace.
He wished him many more years in good health so he would be able to lead and impart his leadership qualities on his supporters.
In the same vein, Leo Ebinim, another supporter and a stalwart of the APC, wished Chief Ogboru God’s continuous protection and more years in the service to humanity. He prayed for more wisdom for the chief, who he described as an ambassador of the masses and an epitome of true leadership.
In her own remarks, Lady Mary Oranye described Chief Ogboru as the true leader of the masses. She prayed God to grant him long life, good health and more strength to further serve the masses.
