Sometime last year in August, l hadpre- marital affair with Miracle. ln January 2019, she complained she hadstomach pain, that it looked as if she is pregnant. So, l told one of mymembers, named Happy Johnson to take her to the hospital. When they got to the hospitalthe doctor confirmed that Miracle is two months pregnant.
The doctor also said Miracle had been taking anti-botic drugs to stop the baby, which led to bad complications in her stomach or womb.
“Then the doctor referred us to another hospital where we did surgicaloperation and it was successful. The following day my wife and one of my memberswent to see the girl. My wife was arrested and l went to the station to meetthe IPO in charge of the case. The police arrested me, and said l am the primesuspect, took me to my church and got confessional statements from me. Duringthe search the police saw palm kernel, white native chalk, concoctions, nativemedicines, and other items. It is members of my church that brought it to mychurch which l used to conduct deliverance and prayer,” he lamented.
Ekene said he has not heard any comment from the girl’s parents since theincident occurred, but claimed his family is in touch with the girl’srelatives. The charms, concoction, native chalk oil found with him, he claimed heuses to do healing deliverance for his members explaining that while some ofthe items belong to him, others werebrought there by members for their deliverance.
