There Is No Limit To What God Can Do

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”- Philippians 4:13
There is no limit to what you can do!
There are no limits to what you can accomplish through God working in your life and ministry. The Apostle Paul knew the power of God was working in him when he said:
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”- Phil. 4:13
The Apostle Paul was persuaded that Christ was his strength and he could do all things. This statement applies to you. You can rephrase it and say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Jesus lives in you, and He strengthens you. In your own strength you can do nothing, but in the strength of God, you can do all things. “All things” means there is no limit to what you can do. God has given you everything you need to be successful in accomplishing His purposes in your life.
Even though you may be weak, through Jesus Christ there is no limit to what you can do in the school of ministry. God wants you to understand He will strengthen you. You have no excuse not to be victorious or not to do everything that God wants you to do. Jesus has made it all possible for you.
You are a super-victor in Jesus, His victory is your victory. His life is your life. His peace and His joy are your joy. God has freely given you everything in Christ you need to be victorious. Therefore, there are no limits in fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for your life.
Push Your Limits
Push your limits out, as far they will go. Pushing your limits does not mean you are going to do something crazy. God does things decently and in order. Pushing the limits means you do things according to the will of God.
Pushing the limits means recognizing God has a divine plan and destiny for your life. Pushing the limits means Jesus has won the victory. All that remains for you to do is to understand the will of God for your life and then walk in the victory that is yours through Jesus Christ.
What can you say to all these things? If God is for you who can be against you? You can be the person God wants you to be. You can be a victorious overcomer. You can go beyond the limits of the world and enter into the abundance of the Kingdom of God.
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
Nothing Can Separate You And Your Ministry From God’s Love
The Apostle Paul was convinced, the love of God was stronger than any opposing circumstances in his life. He said:
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”- Rom. 8:38-39
Being persuaded means you are strongly convinced. You have settled the issue in your mind and your belief is unshakable. Paul was persuaded there were no circumstances, not even death itself, which could separate him from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
You should also be persuaded that you are more than a conqueror over death and all adverse circumstances. Jesus conquered everything, and you have nothing to fear. Angels, principalities, powers; things present, things to come, height, depth-nothing can separate you from the love of God.
Jesus overcame death and hell. Jesus overcame everything in the world. He has overcome the devil, the god of this world. He has overcome it all, and there is nothing to fear.
Be persuaded that through Jesus you are an overcomer. You have been made more than a conqueror through Jesus who loved you and died for you.
Remember, God is for you, in you, and with you. With that kind of support, how can you fail? The truth is, you can’t! Like Jesus, you are an overcomer – someone who can do all things in Christ Jesus!
When God Is Involved, There Is No Flop!
“I knew about that time, Herod the king, stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter, to bring him forth to the people.
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God, for him.
And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, rise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
And he went out, and followed him; and is not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.
When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the Iron Gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the LORD hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.
And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.
And when she knew Peter’s voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told them, how Peter stood before the gate.
And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, it is his angel.
But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.
But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.”- Acts 12:1-17
When God is in it, there is no limit…
Peter is jailed by Herod and the church was fervently praying for his release and deliverance. They knew they couldn’t do anything physically by their own might to free Peter from jail, but rather than worry, they spent their energy on praying. They understood that prayer changes things that can’t be changed naturally. Verse 5 says they never stopped praying to God for him.
“But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him” (NLT).
God showed up and answered their prayer. It amazed me though, that when Peter showed up at the place where they were praying for his release, the people didn’t expect to see him. They began arguing that it could not be him.
When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed that, instead of opening the door, she ran back inside and told everyone, “Peter is standing at the door!”
“’You’re out of your mind!” they said. When she insisted, they decided, “It must be his angel. “Meanwhile, Peter continued knocking. When they finally opened the door and saw him, they were amazed” -Acts 12:14 -16
They were praying but didn’t expect a result. I can identify with this.. There are times in my life where I find myself in situation where it looks absolutely hopeless, yet I pray to God but somewhere in my mind I’m thinking this situation is impossible; I don’t know if this can actually be fixed. I keep praying though just like the church were doing and I ask God to intervene. When the miracle comes, I’m amazed and start wondering if it was really true and if it was God. Meanwhile I have been praying for the intervention. It’s like we pray yet we are not sure God can do it but we still pray. But I love God for one thing, He is ever faithful and in spite of our doubts and fears He still shows up to encourage us. He showed up for Peter and the church and with a mighty deliverance, He delivered Peter.
This tells me we can’t put God in a box or try to limit Him with our human understanding. It might seem impossible to us but with God its not. Let’s keep praying and have expectancy that God will intervene on our behalf.
Verse 10 also did it for me. I couldn’t get over it. It says the gate opened of its own accord for Peter and the Angel.
“They passed the first and second guard posts and came to the Iron Gate leading to the city, and this opened for them all by itself.”
This is the same gate that closed Peter in, the same gate that was standing in the way of His freedom.
A gate is a barrier; it’s something that’s used to contain one or keep one in. It represents a stumbling block or hindrance. This gate was a hindrance to Peter. As long as he was behind the gate he couldn’t progress, he couldn’t do what God has called him to do. But when the Everlasting King of Glory stepped into Peter’s situation, scripture says this same gate opened of its own accord to Peter and he walked out freely. Wow!!! Isn’t that amazing?
I’m reminded of Psalm 24: 7- 10 – “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah” (NKJV)
I don’t know what’s the gate in your life that’s stopping you from fulfilling your ministry, whatever be the gate, call God into the situation right now and watch Him open those gates on your behalf.
Micah 2:13 says “The one who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, Pass through the gate,
And go out by it; their king will pass before them, With the Lord at their head” (NKJV).
I pray God will give us the grace to trust in Him more; that our faith will continue to grow stronger. For as many that are going through one issue or the other, I pray God will send His angels to deliver you just like He did for Peter. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
