The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP under the leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike has been able to demonstrate good leadership resulting in the massive votes the party garnered in the March governorship and state Assembly elections.
That is the opinion expressed by Prophet Japhet Joel Akah in a chat with National Point. He said that in Unit Eight Ward 14 of Obio Akpor, the electorate in Eneka came out en masse to cast their votes for the PDP candidates because of the Wike leadership.
“Under the leadership of Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the PDP as a political party has been able to show leadership by constructing internal roads and the renovation of the Government Secondary School, Eneka (both the senior secondary section and the Universal Basic Education, UBE section).
“Besides, the governor was able to recognize and elevate the Eneka traditional ruler stool which Eze Woko occupies. Another reason for the massive support and votes for the PDP in Ward 14 and across the state is because members of the PDP and their supporters did a lot of door-to-door campaigns,” Sir Akah explained.
He described Wike as a leader with foresight.
The CDC chairman of Uezera Community in Eneka Town stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission did its job well in his area, stating, “They showed that they are competent, it was a good performance ”.
