Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited on Monday reinforced its partnership with the Nigerian Navy with the inauguration of several infrastructure projects at the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Delta, Warri, Delta State, aimed at enhancing personnel welfare and strengthening maritime security operations.

The projects, commissioned at the naval base in Warri, included a 30-room Senior Rates Self-Contain Transit Accommodation, an Executive Officer’s Institutional House, a remodeled Fleet Support Group Central Administrative Block, volleyball and lawn tennis courts, as well as newly constructed car parks.

Speaking during the event on behalf of the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Engr. Kestin Pondi, the Executive Director, Operations and Technical, Captain (Dr.) Warredi Enisuoh, said the intervention was in appreciation of the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces in safeguarding the nation’s critical assets and territorial waters.
Enisuoh noted that since Tantita was engaged in 2022 to secure strategic national infrastructure, some personnel had lost their lives in the course of duty, underscoring the need to support security agencies committed to protecting the country.

According to him, the projects reflect the company’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the Nigerian Navy, whose operational support he described as vital to the protection of Nigeria’s waterways and offshore oil facilities.
“These are men and women who have dedicated their lives to the security of the nation. What we are commissioning today is only a modest contribution when compared to the sacrifices they make daily,” he said.
Representing the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, the Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Suleiman Ibrahim, commended Tantita for the successful execution of the projects.
He described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that the partnership between the Navy and Tantita had become critical to the protection of Nigeria’s maritime environment and oil infrastructure.

Rear Admiral Ibrahim said the facilities would improve the welfare, comfort and operational efficiency of naval personnel, while also strengthening national security and supporting economic growth through safer maritime operations.
Enisuoh further assured that Tantita would continue to support the Armed Forces through similar interventions, stressing that improved security within the maritime sector would encourage investment and enhance national productivity.
The ceremony was attended by senior naval officers, personnel of the Fleet Support Group Central, representatives of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, and stakeholders in the maritime and oil industries.
